Jennifer M. Zoltowski, MS, LLP*

Jennifer Zoltowski, MS, LLP has an extensive history of working with individuals struggling with sexual behavior issues. This includes children, adolescents and adults. She conducts Sexual Risk Assessments to help aid those involved in the legal system or those petitioning to have their name removed from the Sex Offender Registry. She also provides treatment for persons who are struggling with sexual addictions, including internet and pornography addiction. In addition, she works with families to help them address sexual behaviors, particularly those in children and adolescents. 

Ms. Zoltowski also conducts general criminogenic risk assessments, best interest evaluations, custody assessments, domestic violence risk assessments and child abuse potential assessments.  She has testified as an expert witness in numerous counties across the state.  She also works with clients who struggle with a number of mental health disorders.  She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers, the National Association of Forensic Counselors and the Professional Advisory Board for Coalition for a Useful Registry.

Karen Wickline, ED.D, LLP

Dr. Wickline has a Master’s Degree in Clinical & Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Education in Counseling Psychology. Dr. Wickline has been working with youths and families for the last ten years and is a certified Juvenile Sexual Offender Counselor from the University of Louisville and a certified Trauma Specialist from the National Trauma & Loss Network.  Dr. Wickline has experience with psychological assessment, psychosexual assessment, individual, family and group therapy as well as training and program evaluation. Dr. Wickline has  taught in the psychology department at Macomb Community College for several years and  serves as a consultant for jails, prisons, detention facilities and other organizations throughout the country.

Dr. Daniel Shepherd, DMin, MA, LLMFT, LPC

Dr. Shepherd is a professional therapist. His Masters in Counseling (Oakland University) and Doctorate in sacred studies (Ashland Seminary) add up to ten years of graduate education. He credits education and fifteen years of work experience for an ability to understand clients. People say, “He is good at what he does (psychotherapy),” and “He really listens!”  Dr. Shepherd maintains personal wellness through family time, exercise, meditation, and spiritual disciplines. 

Shannon Conz, MA, LLP*

Shannon obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Michigan State University and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology/Addiction Studies from the University of Detroit Mercy.  Over the past 16 years, Shannon has worked in outpatient clinical settings providing individual and family counseling.  She takes a psychodynamic approach to therapy in order to guide, motivate, and empower her clients through the therapeutic process, aiding them in obtaining their identified goals and optimum potential.  Shannon also has also worked extensively in a judicial setting in both Wayne and Oakland County servicing both adults and adolescents involved with the Court.  She performs thorough clinical interviews and conducts extensive psychological testing in order to provide individualized reports and recommendations to the Court.   Through her experience, Shannon has finely honed her abilities to relate to individuals in a trustworthy, compassionate manner. 

Bernard Gaulier, Ph.D.

Dr. Bernard Gaulier is a fully licensed psychologist in the State of Michigan. He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, Ohio, with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. He has over 25 years of experience conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy services.  He previously worked for the Oakland County Circuit Court, Family Division, as Chief of Clinical Services. He is an experienced forensic psychologist and has conducted numerous assessments involving children and adults, regarding issues of delinquency, neglect and abuse, guardianship, and other legal matters. He also has experience doing assessments regarding Competency to Stand Trial and Criminal Responsibility for juveniles and adults. He has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions.

Chad Marks, MA, LPC, NCC 

Chad Marks has a Master’s Degree and full license in Counseling from South University located in Columbia, SC. He has worked in the  areas of vocational rehabilitation, high secure residential, community mental health, and private practice. His wide range of experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and the family unit. Mr. Marks has a special training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT),  Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals who have gone through traumatic life events.
